Fun read! I'm a fan of the datapoint 2200 look, I need one on my desk now. How's the Iris CE been? I've been shopping around looking at split keyboards for a few weeks, but not sure if I'm ready to swallow the cost of another keyboard lol
It's been pretty great! Really different and needed a bit of practice + fiddling with layers but im almost back at my regular typing speed. Keebio also has some cheaper and more normal split kb's that might be more what you're looking for
